Kubota built the RTV-X to work, all four seasons of the year. Four complete plow kits in our catalog fit the RTV-X series, from Kolpin’s SwitchBlade at $547.99 up to Eagle’s straight-blade system at $849.95. That keeps every one of them under $900, though you will still need a separate winch to raise the blade.
The RTV-X900 and the larger X1100, X1120 and X1140 do not always share a mount, so the model you own shapes the kit you pick. Our RTV-X snow plow page carries every option we stock.
Kubota RTV-X Snow Plow Blades
Kolpin’s SwitchBlade is the budget pick with a twist, since one stamped-steel blade adjusts between 60 and 72 inches wide. Denali’s Standard Series forms its 19-inch scoop from a single sheet of 11-gauge steel. How the four compare:
- Kolpin SwitchBlade: a stamped blade you can set at 60 or 72
- Denali Standard Series: single-sheet steel sized 60 through 72
- KFI: its Pro-S steel line or a dual-curve poly face, each in three widths
- Eagle Plow: charcoal blades through 72 or a jet black 80-inch

These are opening prices, and what you select for blade, push tube and extras moves them up. Shared freight applies to two kits: $49.99 on the SwitchBlade and $150.00 on the Eagle.

RTV-X Winch Setup and Plow Extras
A winch rated near 2,500 to 3,500 lb handles blade lifting, while stepping up to 6,000 lb covers recovery pulls too. None of the four kit pages offers an RTV-X winch mount, so plan that piece alongside a unit from our RTV-X winches.
Several useful extras are options inside the kit pages. KFI’s configurator adds its Quick Plow Pulley and soft strap, Denali sells a pulley fairlead for standard or wide spools, and Eagle offers a fairlead suited to cable or rope.
Fitting a Plow to Your Kubota RTV-X
RTV-X Mounts by Model
Eagle uses one mount for the RTV-X900 and a second shared by the X1100, X1120, X1140 and the Cab and Crew versions. KFI bundles its RTV-X mount in the kit and expects the stock front bumper to stay on. Kolpin’s SwitchBlade clamps on with a universal U-bolt mount. Denali lists an RTV-X option on its Standard Series page, though an older Denali listing on our site says the opposite, so call us to confirm before ordering.
Lifts, Skid Plates and Tracks
KFI sells leveling kits for anything between a 1-inch drop and a 6-inch lift, and its bracket for tracked machines sets the blade 10.33 inches farther out. Skid-plated machines can use Denali’s 2- or 4-inch lift tubes, though its track-length tubes rule out Hydro-Turn. Eagle has a stretched push tube for track kits as well.
Plow or Snow Blower on an RTV-X
Some owners weigh a snow blower instead. A blower on the RTV-X runs off Kubota’s PTO and K-Connect system, which usually costs a good deal more than a plow kit. The factory front bumper will not work with K-Connect, the setup costs a couple of inches of ground clearance, and the frame-mounted PTO is not something you will want to pull off every spring. Winter Gear for a Kubota Plow Setup

- Tires: a winter tread gives the RTV-X better grip behind the blade
Getting a Plow on Before Snow Falls
Plow deliveries tend to crawl between November and January. An early fall order leaves a cushion to bolt the kit on and run it once before real accumulation. Most of these kits have install guides you can download.
The most common warranty is between 3-6 months, but Everything Kubota RTV does offer extended 1- and 2-year warranties on all products if that is something you are interested in — you can add the extended warranty right at checkout.
